Prior to COVID-19, around 1,500 refugees including children sought asylum at DFW-area every year. The refugee children are from many corners of the world including Nepal, Burma, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, and many more countries.
During COVID-19, many travels have stopped including refugees coming into America. EGA is focusing on helping refugee children who are already in the DFW-area.
